This is a pre-launch page. It does two things with your data: our hosting provider records standard server logs, and — only if you choose to give it — we store your email address so we can tell you when we launch.
Each time this page is opened, our hosting provider automatically records your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring URL, and your browser type, version and operating system. This is technically necessary to deliver the page and keep it secure.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in a stable, secure service. These logs are deleted or anonymised on a rolling basis.
If you submit your email address, we store it in order to send you messages about our launch. We use double opt-in: after you submit the form you receive a confirmation email, and your address is only added once you click the link inside it. We record the time of sign-up and of confirmation as evidence of your consent.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. When you unsubscribe we delete your address, except for the consent record we must retain to demonstrate compliance.
This page and our store run on Shopify, operated by Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 1–2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland. Shopify processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Data may be transferred to Shopify Inc. in Canada; the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for Canada in respect of commercial organisations (Art. 45 GDPR).
At this stage we set only cookies that are technically necessary to operate the page and keep the session secure. No analytics or advertising cookies are used.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). To exercise any of these, write to hello@feedtheego.co.
